Adventure tour (sitting in the sleigh) (3 years and over)

Come and discover the fascinating world of dog sledding with a family-friendly activity, sitting inside the sled. The adventure trail is the gateway to the world of mushers and their faithful four-legged companions.

Programme

Initial briefing: Introduction to the dogs, the life of a musher and details of the activity.
Sled ride: A 4 to 5 km adventure (approx. 30-40 minutes) through magnificent snow-covered landscapes.
Sharing moments: After the ride, enjoy a moment of sharing and cuddling with the dogs. The perfect opportunity for souvenir photos!
Practical information

Weight and person conditions: If your booking exceeds the maximum weight of 180 kg or does not comply with the conditions, it will be cancelled without refund.
Restrictions: This activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back, hip or knee problems.

Driving a carriage 95 € / person

Take the reins and discover how to drive a team of sled dogs through snow-covered landscapes. A Nordic experience that combines sport, adventure and nature.

Duration: 1 hour (including around 30 minutes driving the sled).
For children aged 10 and over.
Suitable for people in good physical condition.
👉 Coming as a group? It’s possible to combine one part of the adventure hike and the other part of the sleigh drive, to share a unique moment in the mountains.

🐺 Baby Traineau From 3 to 7 years

This activity is specially designed to introduce young children, aged 3 to 7, who are at school and independent, to the fascinating world of mushing. Supervised in a safe environment, it allows children to take their first steps on a sled, using progressive equipment and specially adapted dogs. The children are under the responsibility of their parents and share this time of discovery together.

Carriage driving and adventure trekking require a real physical commitment.
The sleds travel over uneven terrain, which means that people with back, hip or joint problems, as well as pregnant women, are advised not to take part.
Introduction to carriage driving involves running behind the sled over difficult terrain to help the dogs up the hill. You need to be in good physical condition.
The supervisors can cancel or redirect participants, even at the last minute.

How to get there

  • Meeting point just 3 km from Les Saisies.
  • Accessible only with your own vehicle from Les Saisies (road towards Notre Dame de Bellecombe).
  • No access on foot or by shuttle bus.
