Our Quality commitments

For a Tourist Office, committing to a quality approach is of paramount strategic importance. It represents the essential foundation that guides all of the Tourist Office’s activities, with the aim of involving the whole destination in a dynamic of constant improvement, within a common tourism development project.

Les Saisies Tourist Office was awarded the Qualité Tourisme mark following an audit covering 164 indicators.

In 2025, Qualité Tourisme will become a Destination of Excellence. This new stage will strengthen the quality of the entire tourism offering: accommodation, restaurants, activities, places to visit, leisure activities, tourist information and transport.

Our commitments to visitors and local players:

  • Improving the accessibility and visibility of the Tourist Office.
  • Providing a warm, personalised welcome, with a trained and available team.
  • Better organise and disseminate tourist information.
  • Provide clear, precise information tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Facilitate access to information 24/7, and promote the region using digital tools.
  • Enhance the destination with more services: shop, ticket office, digital reception.
  • Define a strategy for each mission, accompanied by an action plan.
  • Propose tourism offers in line with visitors’ wishes and the region’s identity.
  • Take on board suggestions and complaints.
  • Move forward with a sustainable development approach that respects the mountains and their resources.
  • To fully play our role as coordinator between tourism partners.

Destination of excellence what is it all about?

Destination d’excellence is a government label that is gradually replacing Qualité Tourisme. The transition began in September 2024 and will continue until 31 December 2026.

This label is part of the Destination France Plan, led by Atout France. Its aim is to enhance the quality, sustainability and inclusion of France’s tourism offering.

It is based on more demanding criteria, in particular concerning :

  • Eco-responsibility: reducing energy and water consumption, soft mobility, digital restraint, better waste management, etc.
  • Accessibility: taking into account the needs of people with disabilities, simple and legible information, adapted facilities.
