The mountain A place to live together

This summer, you’ll be out and about in the mountains, where a multitude of activities are on offer: hiking, farming, mountain biking, pastoralism…
To ensure that the mountains remain open to all, it is essential to respect all uses.

Farmers work the mountain pastures you may come across. To respect their work and preserve the flora and fauna, stay on the signposted paths and do not cross pastoral farms.

Did you know that the reservoirs used in winter to produce snow are used by farmers in summer?
They give them easier access to water and reduce the number of tractor journeys they have to make.
What’s more, a team of ATV patrollers is on hand to raise awareness on the trails to make it easier for people to live together. Don’t hesitate to ask them for help!

The mountains are a rich territory that we must preserve. When hiking, a few rules apply so that this activity remains synonymous with freedom.
In addition to hiking, a multitude of other activities are practised: mountain biking, farming, paragliding, pastoralism, etc. Every hiker must respect the rules of the land to ensure that people live together in harmony.

By applying these 10 commandments responsibly, every walker is helping to protect the environment and countryside, while ensuring the safety of all users.
