Cross-country skiing

The Les Saisies Nordic ski area is renowned for beingone of the largest Nordic ski areas in France.

In 1992, the resort hosted the cross-country skiing and biathlon events at the Albertville Winter Olympics, contributing to its reputation as a leading Nordic ski destination. The 120 km ski area has been awarded the Site d’excellence 4 sapins label by Nordic France.

Thanks to its high altitude, the Les Saisies Nordic ski area is one of the best snow-covered in the Alps.
Skiing takes place here every year from mid-November (thanks to snowfarming) to the end of April.

The words of champions

Les Saisies is also the favorite playground of Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Julia Simon, who are flying the resort’s colors on the international biathlon circuit. Hailing from Hauteluce and Villard sur Doron respectively, and members of the Club des Sports des Saisies where they cut their teeth, it’s hardly surprising that 2 trails bear their names! The Domaine des Saisies has been awarded the Site d’excellence 4 sapins label by Nordic France.
