Les Saisies arrival site of Le Tour de France 2027 and l'Étape du Tour 2027 in the Alps

Arrival site of the Tour de France

Les Saisies will, for the first time in their history, host a stage finish of the Tour de France on Wednesday 14 July 2027.

The stage route

To mark France’s national day, the Tour de France will treat us to a real spectacle, with Stage 11 covering 150 km and 4,750 metres of climbing as it takes riders over a number of legendary mountain passes: after setting off from Cluses, the professional peloton will tackle the Col de la Colombière, the Col de la Croix Fry and the Col de la Forclaz de Queige, passing through Le Grand Bornand, La Clusaz, Thônes and Ugine, before arriving in the Beaufortain region. They will then climb up to the Col du Pré via Beaufort and Arêches, before returning to Beaufort via the Col de Méraillet. The end of the stage promises to be thrilling, with the climb up Bisanne from Villard-sur-Doron – classified as hors catégorie – and a finish at the Col des Saisies, at an altitude of 1,650 metres!

L’Étape du Tour de France 2027

The icing on the cake: amateur cyclists will have the chance to test themselves on this exceptional route on Sunday 11 July 2027 during l’Étape du Tour.
