Les Saisies is a real paradise for cycle tourists, offering an exceptional playground for cycling enthusiasts. 20 July: L'Etape du Tour

  • With 32 editions and a field of 16,000 entrants, L'Étape du Tour de France is now the benchmark cyclosportive in Europe.

    Start fromAlbertville on 20 July at 7.00 am
    First riders expected on the Col des Saisies at 8.30 am (End of race: 12.06 pm)
    Passage through Villard sur Doron (waterfall junction) from 8.51am

25 July: Passage of the Tour de France

  • Please note that due to the outbreak of Contagious Nodular Dermatitis affecting our cattle, the 19th stage has been shortened and will not pass through Les Saisies.
    The riders will leave Albertville at around 2.30pm and go directly to Beaufort. [last updated on 25/07/25]

Access on the day of the event

Stage of the Tour 20 July 2025

On the day of the Tour stage, the D218B through Les Saisies will be closed. However, the D123 will remain open all day. You can therefore use it to get to or from Albertville. It is essential to park the day before at the Carrets car park (at the bottom of Les Saisies). Follow the D123 past Bisanne 1500, then into Villard sur Doron. On leaving the village, fork right onto the D925 to reach Albertville aux Adoubes, passing Queige and Venthon beforehand. You can park in the Pierre Grange car park.

You can also take the opposite route from Albertville to Les Saisies to cheer on the runners.
