Quality approach

The French government has created the Qualité Tourisme™ brand to ensure that customers are always well looked after and to improve the quality of tourist services in France.

The Qualité Tourisme™ mark is the only State mark awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and services.

To obtain the mark, the service provider must successfully follow a quality approach that complies with the requirements essential to your satisfaction. As a mark of confidence, the services provided are regularly subject to unannounced, independent checks. This mark of recognition allows customers to choose tourist establishments that offer quality services with complete confidence.

Because it is aimed at the entire tourist reception chain, Qualité Tourisme™ provides support throughout the holiday: accommodation, catering, places to visit, sports and leisure activities, tourist offices… it makes it possible to plan holidays with complete peace of mind.

Whether they are well-known or unusual destinations, large groups with an international reputation or small independent establishments, they all join forces with Qualité Tourisme™ in order to reserve a welcome of excellence: almost 5,500 establishments have been awarded the Qualité Tourisme™ label.

To meet the challenges facing tourism (now and in the future), the region’s Tourist Offices, supported by the Arlysère Conurbation Community, Agate and OT73, have set up a skills development plan: Ambitions Tourism.

Aimed at the region’s key players (shopkeepers, accommodation operators, activity providers, owners, technicians, elected representatives, seasonal workers, etc.), it offers around forty events (workshops, training, awareness-raising, meetings, etc.) spread over 3 years and 4 main themes (tourist destinations, customer groups and markets, communication, destination management).

In a fast-changing environment and to achieve better economic performance, it’s important that we all develop our visions and practices to meet the expectations of our customers.
