At 1750 m high this lake used to be a natural one. Now there is a huge dam which was first to be built in Beaufortain in 1942. There are about 13 km of galleries to drive the water from Tré la Tête glacier to the lake.

Altitude: 1650m. Les Saisies is a famous pass between Beaufortain & Val d'Arly valleys. Once upon a time there were only several pasture farms here. A resort was built & developed here for winter & summer sports.

2109m in height. From here, you will go for wonderful treks but it's also the connection of the valley of Beaufort and the village of Arêches with the valley of Aime.

Arêches-Beaufort
Le Cormet de Roselend is a pass at 1968m in height. From this somptuous place, you will discover amazing treks. What's more, you will access by the road to the valley of Les Chapieux and of Tarentaise (on the way of Bourg-Saint-Maurice). The word Cormet (from the Latin "Culmen") means summit.
